Tutak is a renowned chef in his adopted hometown of Bangkok, and he has continuously evolved his cooking by incorporating more and more of his own country’s historical cuisine as inspiration. This has propelled The House on Sathorn into the 43th spot on this year's Asia's 50 Best Restaurants ranking, and Tutak is the only Turkish chef on the list.

At the same time, Tutak has always been interested in China and even speaks a bit of Mandarin. He spent most of his career in Asia and previously worked at Nihonryori Ryu Gin, one of Tokyo’s most celebrated sushi temples and number nine on this year’s Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list.
